IP Law Firm Fires Free Culture Activist

Inga Chernyak, president of the NYU chapter of FreeCulture.org was fired from her job at an IP law firm for holding “incompatible views”. This recent Village Voice article was the reason.

Hopefully, the situation here in Sweden is slightly better. For example, Stellan and I received a grant from Awapatent (Swedish patent/IPR consultants) to cover the costs of printing our thesis on CC licensing.
