How do I insert page numbers in OpenOffice.org?

Insert > Fields > Page Number

I just had to post that so I will remember it. It was very non-obvious to me and I have spent considerable amounts of time trying to insert page numbers. I think I gave up several times before I stumbled over this.

Creative Commons-uppsats uppladdad

Jag har nu laddat upp min och Stellans uppsats med den långa titeln Creative Commons licenser i svensk rätt. En analys av tillämpligheten samt anpassning till svensk rätt (PDF). Förr eller senare kommer den även ut i GU:s elektroniska publiceringssystem.

Uppsatsen behandlar de juridiska frågeställningar som uppkommer vid tillämpning av Creative Commons licenser i Sverige samt vid svensk anpassning av dessa.

Uppdatering: Sedan 2005-12-01 finns uppsatsen tillgänglig även genom ovan nämnda publiceringssystem.

It’s Official!

I can’t believe it! I got my diploma in the mail today! As reported earlier, I have completed all the courses for my law degree and the day before yesterday I handed in my application for a degree certificate. I have been told that it can take up to six months for them to process such requests. But mine must have been mailed yesterday, i.e. one day after my application. Well done!

Examen

Som jag skrev i går har nu alla mina juridikpoäng rapporterats in i LADOK. I dag var jag och lämnade in en blankett för att få ett examensbevis. Det ska bli spännande att se hur lång tid det tar… Det kan visst ta upp till ett halvår i alla fall.

Men människan jag pratade med sa att de brukar försöka skynda sig när det gäller jur. kand. Jag sade att domstolsverket vill ha mitt examensbevis inom en vecka (vilket jag tror är sant) så de lovade att försöka fixa det. Antar att det vore rekord för dem i så fall?

I am a Lawyer! w00t!

I am actually a lawyer! At last, everything has been reported into the university computer systems and I have a piece of paper that shows that I have completed all the courses for my law degree.

Actually, the last thing I completed was the final essay, which was sort of finished in May, but since everyone takes the summer off in Sweden it was not formally approved until today.

Now I am told it can take several months to get the final piece of paper that says I have a degree, as opposed to just a list of completed courses . . .

Oh, and the thesis, which is about the aplicability of Creative Commons licenses in Sweden and the drafting of Swedish versions, will be available online shortly. It is, however, written in Swedish.

The popular social bookmarking site del.iciou.us has added the possibility for members to apply a Creative Commons license to their RSS feeds. Options include all rights reserved, CC license or public domain.

By the way, I have not used del.icio.us much but is that information really copyrightable in the first place? Is it not, basically, a list of links?

I suppose a list of links could be protected as a database, but the feed? Is not that only the last 10 or so? Anyway, I don’t have time to think about this at the moment. I just saw it and thought it was interesting.

Oh, by the way, de.lirio.us has been CC licensed form the start.
