New Spam Filter Installed

I’m getting tons of comments spam. :-( I have just installed another spam fighting plugin. If you are human and still unable to post comments here, please let me know via e-mail (kj@this.domain.without.the.www.part).

Now I will try to post some spammish comments to this post. :twisted:

Update: I just found this via Slashdot. Might be worth a try.

Update 2005-01-20: Not one spam comment this morning. :-) I hope that means that the plugin is doing its job and not just that the spammers have taken a day off or something. And, again, please let me know if you have any problems posting comments.

    I manually moderate all my comments, I spend so much time on the internet that I will pass the real comments in almost no time. The problem is that comment spammers don’t even try to market anything anymore, they just compliment my blog – take a look here.

    Also, just to let you know – your wp-comments returns some nasty data when a comment is posted. I don’t know if you’re on this, but there’s something wrong with the scripts :)

    Heh, it seems to be working. :-) Today I got an e-mail informing me that it had deleted 20 comment (and yes, all were spam). w00t!
